"I brought my 2005 Honda Element in on Wednesday of last week for emergency service. My Element sat outside from November until April 16 while we were in FL. The Chicago Motor Club sent someone to start it, but he told me that once it started, I should take it to have a new battery installed because once I turned it off, it wouldn't start again on its own. As I was driving to Harbor Honda, I noticed that the brakes were not right either. Your service department checked its records, found the car was still under warranty, and replaced the battery, resurfaced the front rotors and replaced the rear rotors, all at no charge to me. You also re-set the satellite radio and folded up one of the rear seats (which I have now figured out how to do on my own). Your service department was courteous and kept me up to date on what work was being done. I greatly appreciate the high caliber of service that I and my Element receive at Harbor Honda."

"I purchased a 2004 Honda Civic. This was my first Honda I have owned and I cannot say enough how happy I am. I live in Crown Point Indiana and work in Franklin Park Il, That's 128 miles a day just for driving to work. I have driven a pick up truck for years but with the cost of gas I had to look to finding a vehicle with better gas mileage. I looked at all of the small cars for one cost, second mileage and third quality.
I can tell you with out a doubt that the quality I found with the Honda civic was very out standing compare to the rest of the models I look at.
The mileage they all seem to say was the same. The most outstanding surprise I found was how I was treated by the salesmen that I dealt with. When I was at the other dealers they would say one thing and when it came down to putting it down on paper for final cost I would always get another price from what I was told. This takes all of the fun out of having to buy a new car and wasted many hours of my time.
Harbor Honda was having a tent sail in Crown Point in the Jewel parking lot, so my wife and myself stopped in. We were treated very nice and we were not pushed to buy a car. We looked at used and new and we went home and talked about it. We came back the next day and talked with a salesperson and told him what we wanted between two cars and what would be the best price and we did not want to do this twice. He came back in ten minutes and it was a price that I thought was very fair. We were done in ten minutes.
The best part of this story is that the car was rated for 38 miles per gallon and I am able to get 39 to 40 miles per gallon and I love driving the car. I am a very big man about 300 lbs and I have no trouble getting in or out of the car like I had experienced in some other models and it is very comfortable to set in and drive. The car is very quiet has great acceleration and the sound system is very good.
I drive this car all of the time now and leave the truck and minivan sit whenever I can. My wife also loves taking the car. She tells me it’s so easy to drive getting around town. The best thing is the story does not stop when you buy the car. I have taken the car in for oil changes and without an appointment. They take care of me right away and it is cheaper than going to one of the quick oil change places, and they have a very, very nice waiting area. They have a place where you can even bring your lap top there if you wanted to do so and work if you so desire.
They treat you like a king when you buy the car and they keep treating you like that even after you have purchased the car.
I am so happy with my Honda that my daughter Penny Jo has taken her drivers class in summer school and I will be looking to buy her a Honda also. Thank you Harbor Honda for making buying a new car fun and making a small car that is fun to drive."
